A common source of cross contamination is the failure to treat ice as a ready-to-eat food. Ice should be kept in a safe container and should never be touched with bare hands. Ice Totes are designed to be a container permanently designated for ice. Durable, NSF listed, and dishwasher safe, Ice Totes are a sanitary space for ice storage and transport. Ice Totes are equipped with a hook and should be stored hanging upside down to prevent bacterial growth.
Great For: safely managing ice in the restaurant environment.
Materials: durable plastic with metal carrying handle. Ice Totes also feature an integrated Handi-Hook™ hanger for safe, upside-down storage and a Tri-Grip™ design for easy, safe pouring and handling. Ice Totes are NSF listed.
