DayMark Safety Systems Introduces Label Minder 2.0
Bowling Green, OH – December 13, 2011 – DayMark Safety Systems has announced the next evolution in the way foodservice operations label their food containers: Label Minder 2.0. The Label Minder 2.0 is a direct thermal printer with touch screen interface that reduces the time spent creating multiple labels. Operators are able to print fully customized food rotation labels using this innovative technology.
DayMark introduced the Label Minder 2.0 to St. Elmo Steak House in Indianapolis, IN, a constant recipient of local and national awards for food and wine. St. Elmo’s was the first restaurant to implement the Label Minder 2.0, during the summer of 2010. Executive Chef Dave Foegley and Chef Glenda Willis met with DayMark to discuss their thoughts on the Label Minder 2.0, and how it has impacted productivity in the kitchen and prep areas.
Chef Foegley said, “…when we saw Label Minder’s capability, we had to have it.” The Label Minder 2.0 almost immediately replaced hand-written labels from a competitor. Chef Willis was quick to point out her favorite part of using the machine: “I don’t have to decipher handwriting, it’s printed clearly and contains all the information that I need in the kitchen.” Labels for the Label Minder 2.0 are available in a variety of adhesives
including DayMark’s patented DissolveMark™ dissolvable labels,
MoveMark™ removable labels, and ToughMark™ synthetic labels.
